Chicago Bears Taking Stock stock certificate 1986 (football fans)

Fun sports collectible. Great graphics of a Bears helmet and the Bears logo. Bottom seal has World Champs 1986. Unissued and not cancelled. Circa 1986 from the Super Bowl.

This novelty stock certificate represented the Chicago Bears phrase "taking stock" for a fan collectible item after the 1986 Super Bowl.  These pieces were not negotiable and did not represent any ownership in a company.  it was hoped that the Bears would return to the Super Bowl in 1987. (They did not.)

The certificate reads:

The Bearer of this Certificate Holds One Hundred Shares of Common Sense Stock in the Support of the Nineteen Hundred & Eighty-Six Chicago Bears Football Team.

Bearer takes Stock in the Bears to Plough (sp) through and Crush whichever opponent stands in our path on the road to Pasadena.

This Document Proves the Shareholders Loyalty Beyond Question and Boasts Loud and Clear that they have taken Stock in the Chicago bears to repeat their Nineteen Hundred & Eighty-Five World Championship Season in True Black and Blue Division Style.
