Scripophily Book of the Month
|
|
Scripophily draws collectors because of the themed, dramatic
art and historical representation each old bond or stock
certificate holds. The mostly defunct, but sometimes live,
original documents portray great historic themes of
discovery, new technology, and financial institutions. The
most enthusiastic part of the hobby is for old railroad
securities.
This is the second in a series
of books on North American Railroad stocks and bonds.
It is a comprehensive price guide with a very extensive
introduction on the hobby. Sections include stock
certificate, bond certificates, information on railroad
companies, revenue stamps, pricing standards, selling your
certificates, autographs, and a glossary of terms.
Printed in 2003, it is an essential book for stock and rail
collectors alike. It is affordable on Amazon so click the
link to the left to add it to your library.

We also provide an extensive
investment book
store where you can read on past Wall Street frauds as
well as how to protect yourself from investment schemes. |
Please note that OldStocks.com
does not sell investments or investment advice. It
is highly recommended that you contact a registered investment

our catalog
are cancelled or

Our
live shares store
are real shares sold by our partner who is licensed to sell actual
securities. We are the only site on the internet to sell both old stocks
and real, live shares.
