Incorporated 1903 in Rhode Island, the business was formed for the purpose of engaging in the business of manufacturing, buying, selling, and otherwise dealing in pharmacal products for physicians and pharmacists.
Franklin Strickland (b 1870) was an apprentice to a pharmacist in Vermont until 1892 studied at the Massachusetts School of Pharmacy. He later founded his own school and continued studies at Brown University before sitting on the board for the Rhode Island College of Pharmacy.
