Chesapeake Industries stock certificate specimen
Uncommon piece circa 1987 is a printers sample from the American Banknote Company. Vignette includes the company logo representing their forestry interests. Clean and crisp example circa 1987.
Chesapeake made wood doors and millwork products through multiple subsidiaries including Southern Door. A statement said the company intends to sell "substantially all of the assets of its operating subsidiaries" by March 31, 1992 and has placed three subsidiaries--Anderco Inc. in Fullerton and Continental Door Inc. and Forest Products Manufacturing Co., both in Rocklin near Sacramento--into Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, protecting the assets from creditor claims.
