Uncommon NJ banking piece with a nice vignette of Lady Liberty. Issued and cancelled. Ledger stub attached to the left. Measures 5.5" by 9.5" without stub. Dated 1923.
Incorporated in 1909. The First National Bank and Trust Company of Ramsey (New Jersey) in Bergen county was granted a charter (9367) in 1909. The company operated and traded under the First National Bank name. The company provided consumer banking and printed early currency. The bank expanded to nearby communities before merging away into NatWest Bank.
