Rare Maine banking piece with Capitol vignette at the top and harvest picture at the bottom. Issued and cancelled. Dated 1873.
The Lincoln National Bank of Bath was chartered in Maine as the Lincoln Bank on June 15, 1813. It was organized as a national bank under an act of Congress on June 3, 1864. In late 1910, it was consolidated with the First National Bank of Bath (Maine). The bank printed US currency between 1865 and 1910.
