North American Lumber Company
Product Description

Company was incorporated in New York in 1837 with lumber interests in the forests of Maine but serving the growing cities of New York. Also, they provided some supply to the Northeast wooden ship building industry of that era. The company survived through the Civil War but no records exist on final company disposition. This entity is unrelated to the North American Lumber (Canada) of today.
