Paul Revere Fire Insurance Company stock certificate circa 1930

Nice vignette features the state seal of New York.  The design has a framed scene of the Hudson River, ships, and Hudson Highlands, flanked by two female figures, representing Liberty and Justice.  The phrase below is  "Excelsior", or "Ever Upward".   Unissued and not cancelled. Dated circa 1930.

The company was started in the 1800s in Buffalo. merged with Home Insurance Company in 1948. Uncommon fire insurance piece.  the company likely dealt in a number of insurance types.
