Powow River National Bank stock certificate 1870's (Massachusetts)

Nice vignette of the US Capitol Building at the top.  Smaller certificate measuring  6" by 10.5".  Issued and cancelled. Dated in the 1870's.

Chartered in 1836 but organized as a national bank in 1864 in Massachusetts. The Powow River National Bank ran operations in Salisbury (MA-NH border). In the 1880's, the company merged with a nearby  bank in Amesbury. the Powow River runs through Amesbury into the Merrimack River.
