Incorporated in Pennsylvania in 1868, the company ran from Schuylkill County (near Bethlehem PA) to New York. The line transported finished and raw iron to the NY City area. Some coal was also moved the railway . Competition from larger companies caused them to default. The company's charter was revoked in 1883 for 3 years of unpaid taxes.
