Bay Area Ghosts Inc stock certificate 2003 (California)

Beautifully designed by the Banknote Corporation of America, with vignettes of the Golden Gate Bridge and ghostly figures.  Dated Oct 31 2003 (Halloween), it is likely that this certificate was a giveaway since other certs were dated Halloween 2002. Issued to the company itself and marked cancelled over officer signatures. Measures approximately 12 x 8 inches. 

Bay Area Ghosts, Inc. (Television, Video, and Media Productions) was a real, but defunct, company that offered video tours of haunted locations in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Incorporated in 2001, the Bay Area Ghosts produced a documentary short (2003), also known as San Francisco Ghosts, which provided a look at local haunted places throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. It provided information on what a ghost is and where paranormal activity has been experienced at homes and businesses. Included places are: Queen Anne Hotel in San Francisco, Union Hotel in Benicia, U.S.S. Hornet, Moss Beach Distillery south of San Francisco, and the Rose Hill Cemetery the City of Clayton

Nationally acclaimed paranormal investigators were interviewed, including Jim Fassbinder, creator of the San Francisco Ghost Walk, and Lloyd Auerbach, author of ESP Hauntings and Poltergeists.
