Incorporated 1999, Brainybrawn *traded as BRNW)was the former name of GEMXX Corporation, a company that has undergone significant business shifts. Originally involved in software and health-related services, Brainybrawn was acquired in a reverse merger in 2021 and changed its focus. On April 29, 2021, the company officially became GEMXX Corporation and began trading under the ticker symbol GEMZ.

The company initially developed web-based software, including enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for various industries. It also launched a health services platform called "HEALTHLYNX," which offered discounts on prescriptions, dental, and other healthcare costs.

In 2020, the company's focus changed to include gold mining and cannabis investments.
