Chartered (2168) as a national bank in 1933. Capital $200,000 in 10,000 Preferred shares of $10 and 1,000 Common shares of $100.

1929, Briggs National Bank of Clyde NY (established 1880) changed to Briggs National Bank and Trust Co. Later, it became the Briggs Bank of Clyde in 1966. Briggs Bank was later acquired by the Bankers Trust New York Corporation in 1974. The bank eventually became KeyBank.

Clyde is a village in Wayne County, New York, United States. The population was 2,093 at the 2010 census. It was named after the River Clyde, in Scotland, and the village sits on the Clyde River, a tributary of the Seneca River. The Village of Clyde is in the town of Town of Galen and is northeast of Geneva, New York. Clyde is approximately equidistant between the cities of Rochester and Syracuse.
