Uncommon MI service station collectible cert. Classic vignette of an eagle perched on a rocky crag with its wings spread. Issued and not cancelled. Dated 1928. Measures approximately 12 x 8 inches.
Incorporated 1922 in Muskegon Michigan, Cardinal Petroleum operated regional gas stations. By 1924, it had 7 stations in Muskegon, Grand Haven, and Montague MI.
Cardinal Petroleum Company sold its assets to Phillips Petroleum Company in 1973.
