Cigar Machine Corporation of America stock certificate 1914 

Very rare tobacco piece with a tremendous vignette of a cigar making machine that the company built.  Issued and cancelled.  Dated 1914.

Founded 1911, Cigar Machine Corporation, Baltimore, Maryland., was incorporated with authorized capital stock of $5.000,000 to erect a plant to manufacture cigar-making machines. The company held patents for a cigar-filler cutter and charging mechanism and a cigar-bunching machine.  The company failed during World War I due to a scarcity of machine parts to assemble its machinery.
