Regional phone company. Classic and common vignette of American Bald Eagle with wings spread and scenes of ship and railroad in the background. Unissued and not cancelled. Circa 1906 from corporate records. Approximately 10.5 x 8.5 inches. 

The Empire & Keystone Telephone Company was incorporated in New York in 1906, and was based in Barryville.

The company served several small towns along the Delaware River in New York (Empire) and Pennsylvania (Keystone). Primary service was in Sullivan County in New York and Pike County in Pennsylvania.

Later absorbed by the Bell Telephone system in New York.
