WV streetcar company. Very nice vignette of an electric trolley car with passengers inside. Unissued and not cancelled. Dated 19__ but circa 1907 from corporate records. Measuring approximately 11 x 9 inches.
Beginning operations in 1907, the Fairmont and Northern Traction Company (F&N) was a historic electric interurban railway in West Virginia, primarily serving coal mines and connecting Fairmont to other towns like Morgantown and Kingwood, operating in the early 20th century to haul coal and passengers,
Merged into the Monongahela Valley Traction Company in 1912 along with the Fairmont & Clarksburg Traction Co. and the Clarksburg & Weston Electric Railway Company.
1921 - changed name to Monongahela Power and Railway Company.
1923 - changed name to Monongahela Water & Electric Co. CO.
1945 – changed name to Monongahela Power Company
