Beautiful mining stock certificate! Elaborate triple vignette of an American Bald Eagle with spread wings in the middle and two vertical mining scenes on the lower left and right. Stunning green underprint of $5.00 per Share! Very clean. Unissued and not cancelled. Circa 1890 from corporate records but dissolved in 1907. Incorporated in the Territory of Montana (on the cert). Measures approximately 11.5 x 8 inches.
The Flint Creek Mining Company was a company incorporated in the Montana Territory on March 9, 1890, in which the term of its existence was fixed at twenty years. The company operated two mines in the Flint Creek area in Montana – the Homestead Lode and the Grubstake Lode - according to Montana records.
The company was dissolved in 1907 before shareholders could extend the period of its charter.
