Rare RR bridge stock cert. Beautiful multiple vignettes - classic steam train at the center and a large elk at the lower left. Unissued and not cancelled. Dated 187_. Circa 1872 from company records. Smaller - Measures approximately 8.5 x 5 inches.   

The Oswego Railroad Bridge Co. was a historical 19th-century railway company in New York, known for building a strategic river crossing and later integrating into larger regional rail networks.

Charter Date:
Chartered in 1872 to construct a vital rail river crossing.

Construction:
Built in 1876 by the Rome, Watertown & Ogdensburg Railroad.

Location:
Spanned the river between Utica and Bridge streets in Oswego, New York.

Later Eras:
Received a newer section in 1967, was abandoned by Conrail in the late 1980s, and eventually transitioned into a pedestrian walkway.

Bonds and Finance:
Maintained $100,000 in first mortgage 6% bonds that were later accounted for under the New York Central and Hudson River Railroad system by 1913.
