The Citizens Passenger Railway Company of Philadelphia was an incorporated 19th-century transit line operating horse-drawn streetcars along 10th and 11th Streets. Established in the late 1850s, the line ran from North Philadelphia down to South Philadelphia before eventually transitioning to electric trolley operations.

Ran from 10th Street and Montgomery Avenue in North Philadelphia.

Extended down to 11th and Reed Streets (later extending toward Mifflin and Reed) in South Philadelphia.

Utilized 10th Street for southbound or northbound tracks paired with 11th Street.

Maintained car houses and stables near the route corridors.

1857–1858: Formed and incorporated during a major expansion of early urban transit networks.

May 1, 1894: Converted from horse-drawn cars to electric trolley systems.

1895: Leased to the Union Traction Company as part of broader transit consolidations.
