Maryland Telecommunications stock certificate 1966 - made tv cameras and monitors 

Uncommon television camera equipment maker. Excellent vignette of several television cameras and a monitor. Issued and cancelled. Dated 1966. Measures approximately 12 x 8 inches.

Based in Cockeysville MD, the company was incorporated 1957 and manufactured televisions systems equipment.

As noted in a 1964 advertisement, some of the company’s products included Vidicon cameras, Image Orthicon cameras, television cameras, synchronizing generators, TV optical systems, high resolution television systems, and slow scan television systems.

In 1975, Dage Television and Maryland Telecommunications, Inc. (MTI) were incorporated to form Dage-MTI. Dage-MTI is the oldest camera manufacturer in the United States, with a unique history in the video industry.

Dage Television was founded in 1952 as one of the pioneers in closed circuit television. Maryland Telecommunications, Inc. (MTI) became the largest low light level television manufacturer. Fast forward 50 years and Dage-MTI is still creating some of the most advanced camera solutions for the healthcare, industrial, and education markets.
