Cripple Creek CO gold mining. Fancy nameplate vignette of the company's name. Issued and cancelled. Light glue stain at the left from ledger. Dated 1906. Measures approximately 10 x 7.5 inches.
Acacia Gold Mining Company was incorporated in 1895 during the height of the Cripple Creek, Colorado gold rush. The company owned about 20 acres total on Bull Hill. The mine was quite rich in gold but the company was absorbed the Calumet Mining & Milling Company.
Assets:
The company owned and operated the Burns and Morning Star mines on Bull Hill.
