The Freeport and Cripple Creek Gold Mining Company was a historic gold prospecting enterprise incorporated 1896 in Colorado during the Cripple Creek Gold Rush. Founded by Daniel V. Freeman and W. B. Boardman with its main Office at 220 Devonshire St. Boston Mass.

It had four claims known as the Electric 1,2,3, and 4 on Raymond Hill with a total of 36 acres. The company also held by lease the Bonanza King claim on Gold Hill and the Fourth Brothers claim on Beacon Hill.

Historical Operations:
The company operated in the famous Cripple Creek Mining District—the site of Colorado's last major gold rush, which yielded over 21 million ounces of gold.

Asset Expansion:
In 1900, the company expanded its holdings by purchasing the Ransom and Acme groups of mines in the San Juan District of Colorado.
