The Syracuse, Chenango and New York Railroad was a 45.49-mile standard-gauge railroad line in Central New York that connected Syracuse to Earlville. Incorporated on April 16, 1868, as the Syracuse and Chenango Valley Railroad.

Cazenovia Tunnel:
A notable engineering feature of the line was a 1,631-foot-long railroad tunnel built north of Cazenovia passing beneath modern-day Route 92.

Connection:
Built to connect the New York Central Railroad in Syracuse with the New York, Ontario and Western Railway (Oswego Midland) at Earlville.

1933:

1935–1960:
The line was abandoned in stages, beginning with the Earlville-to-Cazenovia section in 1935, the Manlius section in 1948, and the final remaining portions around Syracuse in 1960.
