Cripple Creek CO gold mining. Great offset vignette of an underground mine with miners. Gold seal and border. Some light wrinkling that will press out. Issued and not cancelled. Dated 1900. Measures approximately 10 x 8 inches.

Big 4 Gold Mining Company was incorporated in Colorado in 1897 during the Cripple Creek gold rush operating in the area of the Big 4 and Last Hope lodes. It was based out of an office at 271 Bennett Avenue, Cripple Creek, Colorado; securitized at Citizen's Branch Office with the Miller-Young Brokerage Co. It was issued with a capital stock of $1,000,000 divided into $1 shares.
